April this Year The Office of the President, Regional Administration and Local Government (OR – PMO-RALG) was approved the appointment of 7,612 health cadre Staff for Council Hospitals, Health Centers and Dispensaries as well as 9,800 Primary and Secondary School Teachers to do work under Local Government Authorities.

Thus, graduates from government higher education colleges, teacher colleges, and government health colleges were invited to apply for jobs between April 20 and May 4.

All qualified teachers were required to submit their applications online via the employment ajira.tamisemi.go.tz. The  announcement applied to Graduates of Teacher Training Courses from 2015 to 2021. Applicants who had previously submitted their applications through the employment application system were  required to re-apply.

The role of TAMISEMI is to coordinate and supervise regional development management and administration. TAMISEMI coordinates rural and urban development management policy and strategies; coordinates Regional Secretariats activities and builds their capacity in institutional development strategies for integrated socioeconomic development and financial.
